Innis nan Druidhneach: A ‘thin’ place

This exhibition of artworks by Victoria is the result of an investigation into the sublime when among place and landscape. The works are a mediated articulation created from the documentation of her subject matter -Isle of Iona - the works are then realized within traditional and contemporary materials and printmaking techniques. With an interdisciplinary practice Victoria is driven by the phenomenology of place, poetry of the romantic and transcendentalist movement in creating artworks that are sympathetic to her subject matter.
